Help us make a difference as a Baler Operative at our site in Edmonton.

The role is on a shift rotation basis - 2 days on 7am-7pm then 2 nights on 7pm-7am then 4 off and repeat. (Half the year off plus annual leave).

Your core responsibilities.

• Operating Baler / Fixed Plant within the facility and occasional FLT and Loading shovel
• To maintain good 5S standards in and around the Baler
• Work to company health and safety standards
• To complete company paperwork including daily bale counts and defect checks

Requirements

Our essential requirements.

• Experience of operating fixed plant within an industrial environment
• A proactive person who has good organisational skills
• A good timekeeper, team player but with the ability to work independently
• Awareness of health & safety regulations
• Experience within the waste / recycling industry would be an advantage.
