Directly manage cold production kitchens over multiple sites. Overall responsibility of the production and delivery of cold products across sites, ensuring a safe working environment, with a motivated team, whilst producing products to meet the needs of the business and delight our customers.

• Set production plans for both cold kitchens in line with anticipated business
• Ensure day to day delivery and distribution of cold production products for sale in all areas of the business, is line with anticipated trade and ensure effective, clear communications between departments to ensure awareness of product movement
• Oversee specification and presentation of products to ensure we are maintaining the company standards whilst working with Group Kitchen and Food Systems Manager and wider food team in the development and implementation of new products
• Effectively manage, recruit, train and support the team
• Work as part of the larger catering team where necessary, using flexibility and your initiative to change your own activities to meet different circumstances
• Guide and support stock controller in all aspects of ordering and stock movements as necessary, ensuring all procedures are followed in regards to production,transfers, shipping , wastage and invoice processing
• Manage and escalate any issues in a timely manner regarding colleagues or inability to meet production or food service deadlines
• Ensure that Kitchen areas are maintained to a high standard, working within food safety guidelines and ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to and audited in line with the health and safety policy
• Undertake any further training as deemed necessary by your line manager
• Carryout any reasonable instruction given by your line manager
