Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every customer feels welcomed and valued. Your passion for hospitality and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Duties

• Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
• Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate orders and special requests.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong culinary knowledge.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Basic maths skills for processing bills and handling payments.
• Understanding of food safety practices to ensure health regulations are met.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to help others, both guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
