We are looking for a Growth Marketing Team Leader to join our dynamic marketing function. You will be responsible for driving the ways of working, processes and tasks that grow the size of, and engagement in, the customer base of your allocated brand. You will have a hands-on role in executing lead generation tasks, campaign messaging and performance analysis whilst working with the Head of Growth Marketing, wider Marketing department and Portfolio Directors to ensure that activities align.
As Team Leader, you will also work with the Head of Growth Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer to roll out processes across the Growth marketing team, being there to support the team and contribute to new methods and ideas to help reach common goals.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment, brings ideas, is hands-on but can also understand the bigger picture of how to identify, source and on-board great customers.
Role Responsibilities:
- Execute the data acquisition strategy for events and products within your brand allocation with focus on movement of new data to qualified Marketing Contacts
- Create targeted plans based on personas and core customer groups / ICPs to deliver against business need
- Responsible for development and ownership of our personas and customer groups, working with Head of Growth and Head of Data to ensure our database is aligned with personas and customer segments (Industry, academic and SPs) to enable effective, targeted lead nurturing campaigns
- Responsibility for processing registrations and responding to enquiries from delegates for the events in your brand
- Execute a speaker referral campaign for guest passes, aiming to deliver 70% speakers bringing a guest
- Proficiently use third party tools and platforms to help scale our approach to new data acquisition e.g. Cognism, sales navigator, evaboot
- Work with Brand and Content to make sure that copy for outbound campaigns is on brand and aligns to our broader offer
- Help to develop new strategies to increase our company reach and scale our approach to acquisition, such as new marketing initiatives, A/B testing, or experimental trials
- Focus on campaign and channel performance, using data insights to inform both database growth strategies and lead nurturing activities, optimising outcomes at every stage of the customer lifecycle - for your brand and helping to influence team strategies
- Assist in managing and mentoring a high-performing team of Growth Marketing Executives.
We are looking for someone with:
- Our marketing team and business more broadly is a matrix - it will be important you’re a self-starter, someone adept at working on multiple projects at the same time and have an excellent communications style
- 2+ years demonstrable experience in growing leads and data for a business
- Minimum 1-year demonstratable experience of leading a team
- Demonstrable experience of influencing and informing growth of a process, product or business
- Ability to optimise processes and ways of working for increased outputs
- Inquisitive, being focused on identifying new opportunities to drive outcomes
- Experience of a fast paced and dynamic working environment
- A data-first approach
- Strong technical skills, able to understand and use tools and platforms effectively
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams
- Good attention to detail and well organised
- Strong copywriting skills and knowledge
More about the role:
- Salary : £35,000 - £42,000 per annum
- Location : All our roles are hybrid (a mix of remote and in office). Our offices are located on the Botley Road in Oxford, with shops/restaurants within walking distance and easy access into Oxford City Centre.
- Job Type : Full time (37.5 hours a week)
