The EMEA Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and driving the execution of Prophet’s marketing strategy for the region to achieve goals and objectives. Our EMEA region includes markets such as UK, Germany, Switzerland, Saudi, and UAE. This person will partner closely with the EMEA Leadership Team and the global marketing team and will report to the Global Chief Marketing Officer. This person will either work out of Prophet’s London or Berlin office. Detailed responsibilities include the following:

Demand Generation

  • Develop and execute content driven lead generation campaigns
  • Coordinate alignment between EMEA Marketing and Business Development activities, supporting integrating marketing and sales activities (e.g, funnel management, tracking conversion, etc.)
  • Execute and track programs through Prophet’s marketing automation and CRM platforms
  • Drive continuous, KPI-based analysis of performance and recommendations for improvement

Content Strategy/Thought Leadership

  • Create and manage the Content Strategy and calendar for the region, balancing regional and global content strategy and assets
  • Help identify topics, authors and how to best curate across paid, earned and owned media
  • Edit and revise articles, white papers and case studies
  • Oversee translation of selective articles/other content from English to German (or vice versa)

Digital/Social/SEO

  • Develop and manage Digital/Social/SEO plan in partnership with channel experts on the global marketing team
  • Lead the social strategy for the region, including educating the EMEA team on best practices
  • Manage Prophet.de microsite strategy and content to keep current and relevant

Awareness/Public Relations

  • Manage PR Partners in the region
  • Support Prophet Partner team on opportunistic media opportunities
  • Distribute and monitor press release activity

Events

  • Create event strategy for the region, balancing company owned, sponsored, award and speaking opportunities with relevant organizations and properties
  • Help ensure success of events from branding and demand generation perspectives
  • Coordinate and manage networking activities

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

The preferred candidate will have significant experience in a professional services marketing firm. They must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Fluent spoken and written English is a must. Spoken and written German a plus.
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic and tactical abilities e.g., help refine Prophet’s go to market approach in EMEA as well as manage execution of plan
  • Understanding of the EMEA markets such as UK, Germany, Switzerland, Saudi and UAE, including key social/digital platforms
  • Experience in the development of successful direct email campaigns
  • Digital/Social marketing experience (SEO, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Strong writing and editing skills and experience in content development
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as with cross-office teams
  • Strong communication and senior stakeholder management skills necessary to work with EMEA leadership team and Prophet’s global Marketing and BD team, and effectively manage/partner with outside agencies and media/event properties
