Overview
We are seeking a skilled individual to join our growing systems team. The successful candidate will work closely alongside our key departments & stakeholders to maintain our current system and help drive the development of new projects using modern technology to enhance our offerings.

The role will be varied as we have a small development team covering all aspects of our system, from general front and back-end development to database management and dev ops. This will be taken into consideration as it is not about being an expert in every area but being able to apply your skills across them and being open to learning new skills to help push developments and the systems forward.

Duties

• Maintain and enhance current software systems
• Develop new projects using modern technologies
• Collaborate with team members and key stakeholders on project requirements
• Perform code reviews and testing

Skills

• Front end: HTML, CSS, Angular, React, PHP
• Backend: Java, Struts, Spring (Core/ MVC/REST), JPA
• Database: SQL(MySQL), relational databases
• DevOps: Jenkins CI/CD, Linux, Git
• RESTful Web Services

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in software development
• Strong knowledge of front end and back end technologies
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
