This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior to mid-level finance lawyer to develop their expertise in debt and equity capital markets, banking, and corporate finance matters within an

FTSE 100 company.

A bit about the job:

As part of Aviva’s corporate finance legal team, you will play a key role in supporting debt and equity capital market transactions, banking matters, and corporate finance activities. You will work closely with senior internal clients and external advisers, providing legal guidance to mitigate risks and deliver on Aviva’s strategic priorities. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile M&A transactions, corporate venturing, and sustainability initiatives.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Qualified lawyer with post-qualification experience in finance, gained in a leading firm and/or financial institution.
• Strong technical knowledge in debt capital markets, equity capital markets, or banking.
• Ability to anticipate legal issues, assess risks, and provide pragmatic solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.

What you’ll get for this role:

• Salary – Circa £85,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
