Junior Sous Chef/sous Chef

We are looking to expand the team at The Vane Arms and bring in a sous chef/junior sous chef. We have a very strong kitchen team and on site training is given as standard. In terms of your own skill set you will need to be passionate about cooking, posses good knife skills and have previously worked in kitchens. The chefs are constantly coming up with new specials daily using Hodgson’s sale wall so you will be given the chance to create your very own specials. You must have prior knowledge of running a kitchen and covering head chefs days off.
We pride ourselves on promoting from within and are constantly investing in the kitchen. Currently we have a vario rational, thermomix and solid top to name but a few pieces of equipment we have recently purchased.
your own transport is a must and you will be expected to work both splits and straights which change week to week dependant on the needs of the business.
