Actica’s continued success means that it’s looking to continue to grow at 20% year-on-year. The Talent Acquisition Team is pivotal in facilitating this growth by sourcing candidates who meet our exacting recruitment standards. This role is busy and so being able to juggle tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail is critical. You will coordinate interviews, update our ATS (Pinpoint), assist in the preparation of reports, speak to candidates and be the first point of contact for our internal and external stakeholders.

Our office is on the Surrey Research Park in Guildford. We are a small, energetic and friendly team, with high stakeholder expectations and standards. Attention to detail, prioritising workload and staying on top of tasks are key elements in this role. Being a people function, we are open and approachable; personality and drive is as important as professional experience.

You will provide recruitment and administrative support to the Head of Talent Acquisition, helping to recruit graduates and experienced consultants. You will be encouraged to take further ownership of these processes as you progress in your career with us.

Key Responsibilities

Your work will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Managing candidates in process in Pinpoint (our ATS)
  • Application logging
  • Interview booking
  • Posting vacancies on online job sites
  • Providing interview feedback to candidates and agencies
  • General candidate correspondence
  • Support with the end-to-end recruitment process
  • General recruitment administration
  • Attending job fairs and recruitment events as appropriate
  • Support the on-boarding process;
  • Any other reasonable duties as required

The role will develop in time, how quickly depends on your previous experience and in time could progress to:

  • Development of direct sourcing strategies
  • Contribution to process improvements
  • Growth of Actica’s social media footprint and employer branding

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Qualifications and Experience

We are keen to hear from individuals who have prior experience of working as a junior recruiter in a busy administration environment, with an interest in technology.

A good approach to organisation, enjoyment of problem-solving and an interest in technology are all key attributes that we would look for in candidates for this role.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fantastic telephone manner
  • Experience working in recruitment is desirable
  • Highly organised, dependable, and professional
  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to display confidence and initiative
  • Strong IT skills
  • Good team player
    Previous experience of using an ATS, Pinpoint is desirable

Candidates must be eligible and willing to gain UK Security Clearance to apply for this position.

A Mentor will be on hand to provide support and guidance throughout your journey with Actica. You will also work with a Performance and Development Manager, often outside of your project line of control, who will conduct regular reviews based on project feedback to set career objectives and identify training courses which are both relevant to your current project work, and aligned with your planned career progression.
