Senior Property Manager
I am currently working on behalf of an established independent letting agents, based in Ilkley, who are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Property Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing property maintenance for our client’s portfolio of rental properties. You will work closely with the Directors & Lettings Manager to ensure continuous upkeep of all properties under the portfolio whilst supporting other areas of the business on an ad-hoc basis.
The successful applicant will need to have proven Property Management experience and be a self-motivated, proactive individual looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment. Experience on Alto & Fixflo is desired and candidates MUST have a Full UK Driving Licence and Own Transport.
My clients team have a wealth of experience in all aspects relating to the letting and management of residential property and as such are keen to continue growing with integrity with a view to become a household name in Yorkshire.
Day to Day:
- Acting as the primary contact for maintenance enquiries via telephone, email and app
- Liaising between tenants, contractors and landlords to organise and resolve any outstanding maintenance issues
- Updating energy suppliers with move-in and move-out meter readings
- Arranging property inspections and following up on any remedial works
- Conducting check-in and check-out appointments with tenants, negotiating the security deposit and works as required
- Managing the safety certificate schedule for all properties held on our client’s portfolio and coordinating all safety certificate appointments
- Coordinating tenancy renewals and rent reviews and dealing with any associated administration
- Uploading relevant notes, certificates and invoices into the CRM system to ensure accurate records are kept
- Contacting viewing enquiries and arranging appointments with prospective tenants, carrying out viewings when covering holiday or during exceptionally busy periods
The Package:
- £30,000 - £35,000 - dependent on experience
- Office Based - Ilkley (4 Days) & Harrogate (1 Day)
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
- Saturday Rota (1 in 4)
About you:
- Proven experience in a property maintenance position
- Sound property knowledge with an ability to use your initiative when dealing with maintenance issues
- Experience on Alto & Fixflo
- Highly organised
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and process-driven environment
- A strong work ethic, with a proactive approach to work
- A meticulous individual with high levels of attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00 per year
