Working in the Finance Team

The Finance Team is responsible for putting in place appropriate systems and processes to keep the business financially sustainable and legally compliant.

Key objectives of the finance team are focussed on delivering continuous improvement to drive business value as we gear for growth.

The finance team have derived objectives in respect of funding, people, systems, technology, outputs and engagement.

What will you be doing?

As a key member of our dynamic team, you will provide vital analytical and research support, including financial modeling, to drive the success of potential transactions. You’ll assist with due diligence, collaborating with internal and external experts to craft detailed reports. Additionally, you’ll participate in structuring and financing initiatives, create impactful presentations, and contribute to management committee reports.

You’ll work closely with the Open Cosmos Group management across various territories, ensuring smooth monthly reporting to key stakeholders such as shareholders, investors, and senior leadership, all while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

This role also offers exciting opportunities to take on other related duties in the fast-paced space industry.

What you need to be successful

  • Strong academic record
  • Experience in investment banking, corporate finance or deal advisory / transaction services
  • Strong modelling and analytical skills
  • Experience managing / supporting deal processes (either sell side or buy side)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, Spanish language is desirable
  • Self-starter - confident and able to work independently in a fast-paced but collegiate environment
  • Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
  • Mature, reliable and hard-working, strong executive presence
  • Motivated and persistent - goes the extra mile
