About the Role:

As a Marketing Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping our strategic marketing vision and driving our brand’s narrative. Reporting to the Marketing Director, your responsibilities will include everything from content creation and demand generation to strategic planning and campaign execution. You’ll work closely with a small, collaborative marketing and design team, ensuring all deliverables are met in a timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner. The role has a strong emphasis on copywriting, content creation, brand positioning, product marketing and PR.

You’ll have the chance to lead innovative campaigns, generate leads, and ensure our brand identity remains consistent across all platforms. This role will also involve regular collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as legal, compliance, product, HR, and sales, to ensure seamless project delivery. Additionally, you will manage a Marketing Executive, driving both personal and professional growth within the team.

You must be within reasonable commuting distance to Chesterfield and must have own transport and ability to work in different locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies in alignment with company objectives.
  • Oversee and manage all marketing, PR, and communication initiatives.
  • Create engaging and compliant content for websites, social media, email campaigns, and more.
  • Take ownership of major brand positioning projects, managing all stages from strategy, research, and content creation to website launch.
  • Lead demand generation campaigns to drive lead acquisition and business growth.
  • Collaborate with HR on internal events and engagement strategies.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and KPI reports to the management team.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to support the sales process.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing manager role, ideally in a technology or software-driven environment.
  • Experience in brand positioning.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a marketing or business-related discipline.
  • Proven ability to deliver on marketing targets and objectives.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills with experience creating engaging content across various channels (web, print, press releases and social media, etc.).
  • Proven experience in generating original copy and content.
  • Proven experience in demand generation and lead acquisition strategies.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including GA4 and Mailchimp.
  • Experience working in an FCA-regulated environment is advantageous but not essential.
