Part Time Front of House Assistant Required.

23.5hrs per week made up of 4 x weekday shifts 10.30am - 2.30pm and one weekend day 10am - 6pm.

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring their dining experience is exceptional. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for learning, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, employing basic maths skills for cash handling.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any guest concerns.
• Serving hot and cold beverages on a barista style coffee machine.
• Provide excellent customer services by responding promptly to inquiries and requests.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for interacting with guests.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
