Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong culinary background and demonstrate exceptional skills in food preparation and kitchen management. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Italian background required

Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, showcasing creativity and culinary expertise.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients, ensuring the availability of fresh produce and supplies.
  • Develop new recipes and menu items that align with seasonal trends and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health regulations.
  • Assist in training new staff members on cooking techniques and kitchen protocols.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management.
  • Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Passion for cooking with a creative flair for developing new dishes.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £34,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
