Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation. We need an individual with proven management experience and a passion for driving business growth through innovative marketing initiatives albeit with a strong focus on WordPress website management and SEO optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
WordPress Management:
- Maintain and update our company website built on WordPress.
- Create and optimise landing pages, blog posts, and other web content.
- Ensure a seamless user experience, mobile responsiveness, and fast load times.
- Implement best practices for SEO within WordPress.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO):
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities.
- Optimise website content, meta tags, and URLs for search engines.
- Monitor and analyse website performance using tools like Google Analytics.
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic rankings.
Content Marketing:
- Collaborate with the sales team to create engaging and relevant content.
- Leverage SEO insights to guide content creation and distribution.
- Promote content through social media channels and email campaigns via Hubspot.
Digital Advertising:
- Manage our external PPC partner to ensure rankings and web traffic through landing pages are optimised.
- Monitor campaign performance on Google Ads and adjust as needed.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to website traffic, conversions, and ROI.
- Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- 5 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, with a focus on WordPress and SEO.
- Degree qualified.
- Proficiency in WordPress, including theme customisation, plugin management, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, Google Analytics, and keyword research tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Creative mindset with a data-driven approach.
- Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role, preferably in the recruitment or financial services industry.
Package:
We’re offering a full-time salary of between £38-43k per annum, with access to a fantastic range of employee benefits:
