Chicane are looking for a Service Technician to join their team. Previous experience working on Aston Martins is preferable.

Duties

• Perform routine service maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations and headlight/taillight installations and any other upgrades

• Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair

• Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations

• Inspect vehicles according to regulatory requirements for emissions and safety

• Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness

• Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for our records

• Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety

• Maintain vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting.

• Maintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs.

• Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

• Minimum requirements

• Fully qualified vehicle technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

• Full and clean driving licence

• 3+ years’ of service technician experience preferably with Aston Martins or a similar marque

• Ability to operate all car repair tools

• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must

• Positive and self-motivated

• The ability to work as part of a team

• Pride in a high standard of work

• Quick and efficient with tasks and able to work to tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
