We are currently recruiting a Floorlayer to join us on a permanent basis. Working across the Bradford district, you will provide a high quality service to our customers homes, carrying out full installations and general maintenance.

Duties
- Carry out full installations and general maintenance to a high standard using various floor coverings including carpet fitting, ply sheets, screed and level, lino, Polyflor flooring and wet rooms in our empty and tenanted properties.
- Assess work required and make recommendations on action to be taken, use multiskilling elements from other trades where possible to ensure works can be completed in a timely manner. Report back if works outside of your core trade are needed in order to arrange for another team to attend.
- Be part of a multi-skilled team of operatives working at a high level of performance to meet tight deadlines.
- Communicate the work undertaken with the customer, providing an excellent service to ensure they are satisfied and are aware the process that needs to be taken.
- Abide by the requirements of HASAWA and all other related safety regulations.
- Update system information using Dynamic Repairs Scheduler.
- Originate, maintain and provide updated work documentation as required.
- Driving to and from premises around the Bradford district.
About you
- Honest, courteous, diligent and punctual.
- Self-motivated and able to use your own initiative.
- Willing to undergo training and improve on your professional skills.
- Have basic IT skills to be able to update our systems via a smart phone or tablet.
- A great team player.
- Enjoy liasing with customers and members of the public.
- Able to work to deadlines and reprioritise tasks if needed.
Requirements
- A full current driving license is essential - must be able to drive manual vehicles
- Relevant, substantial experience in prepping and laying all floor coverings
- An awareness of Health and Safety systems such as COSHH and HASAWA.
- A full set of your own tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Delivery of a first-class repair service by carrying out your specialist trade duties either as an individual working on their own initiative or undertaking these activities and duties as a member of a specialist team.
