The company
Our client is a software-first parking payments company. Their product fully automates the parking journey by detecting when drivers enter and exit enabled car parks and automatically billing them for their length of stay.
About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Product Owner to join their private parking product team. In this role, you’ll connect business stakeholders, customers, and developers to deliver high-value features and improvements. You’ll refine the product vision, manage the backlog, and collaborate across teams to enhance the private parking experience.
What You’ll Do
- Shape the Product Vision: Work with senior leadership to improve the private parking product and support a better industry.
- Manage the Backlog: Prioritize and maintain user stories with clear acceptance criteria that align with business goals.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve roadblocks, and ensure everyone understands the purpose of each feature.
- Engage Stakeholders: Collect feedback, update priorities, and present progress in a concise and impactful way.
- Support Delivery: Oversee sprints, approve completed work, and ensure it meets standards.
- Stay Customer-Focused: Use market research and customer feedback to inform decisions and address pain points.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar Agile role.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and Agile practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience writing effective user stories and using tools like Jira or Trello.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and software development processes.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
