Located in the heart of Cliftonville, Sete is a Restaurant, wine bar and shop owned by Natalia Ribbe.
Joined by chef Andy Lowe , the dining room at Sete has now been open for over a year and we are now looking for extra hands in our kitchen as we head towards the summer season.
Our food champions local ingredients with a focus on seasonality taking inspiration from Modern European cuisine with a heavy French influence.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and kitchen operations, working closely with Head Chef Andy. Your responsibilities include managing sections in the kitchen and maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness. You will also need the ability to run quieter services solo. This position offers an opportunity for someone with experience working within a professional kitchen to showcase their skills and advance their career in a dynamic kitchen environment
Food Preparation:
- Execute tasks as directed by Andy, ensuring adherence to recipes and maintaining consistency.
- Oversee the preparation of dishes, including butchery, cooking, and plating.
Team Support:
- Provide guidance and support to any junior kitchen staff, to facilitate smooth operations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to uphold a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and camaraderie.
Hygiene and Safety:
- Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards, including personal hygiene, food handling practices, and cleaning procedures.
- Comply with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement, actively participating in training sessions.
- Contribute innovative ideas to menu development and kitchen processes.

Although experience is required for this role, we will consider candidates with experience in a professional kitchen who have not previously held a CDP role. Showing a willingness to learn and enthusiasm goes a long way. Above all we are looking for candidates who are passionate, driven and excited to be part of a growing business.
All candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and will be required to provide suitable and up-to-date ID at first stage interview.
You must be able to reliably travel to Cliftonville, Margate.
