We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met. You will work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to deliver high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities :

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
• Help cooks with cooking tasks, ensuring dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support catering events by preparing food items as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
• Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.

Requirements :

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
• Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
• Understanding of food safety standards and practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
• A passion for cooking and helping others create delicious meals.
