Please note: this role is On-Site, full time, Monday to Friday at our Manchester offices. You’ll need to be a UK Citizen or hold ILR status to be considered, unfortunately Vix is unable to consider applicants with any other residency or visa status at this time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end project life cycles, ensuring successful delivery and implementation of fare collection and transportation projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, and regularly evaluate project progress.
• Oversee the execution of project activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project milestones.
• Manage project risks and issues, proactively identifying and implementing strategies to mitigate potential roadblocks.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the transportation or related industry.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
