Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfil has combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers’ counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.

Our Merthyr site are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly Hygiene team, this is a full time, permanent position, working 6.00am to 6.00pm - 3 days on / 3 days off on £11.94 per hour.

Requirements

As part of Hygiene Team your daily tasks will include :

• Keep all areas of the factory clean and tidy meeting health and safety standards.
• Waste disposal, sweep floors/ wash floors and walls and adhere to PPE policies;
• Ensuring all staff areas are kept clean and tidy, cleaning the toilets, locker rooms and corridors.
• Assist within the Laundry areas as and when required.
• Effective communication with Supervisor/Team Leaders.
