Passive Fire Projects Manager - London & Greater London
FAFS Fire & Security is at the forefront of fire safety technology and compliance. We are seeking a highly skilled Passive Fire Projects Manager to lead our projects in ensuring the effective installation and management of passive fire protection systems. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for high-quality service and compliance with industry standards.
Basic Salary – £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all phases of passive fire protection projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; allocate resources effectively and monitor project progress.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in passive fire protection.
- Lead and mentor project teams, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure the quality of work meets our high standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of passive fire protection measures with other systems.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and reports for auditing and compliance purposes.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in project management within the fire protection or construction industry, with a focus on passive fire measures.
- Strong understanding of regulations and standards relevant to passive fire protection, including BS 476 and BS 8214.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective client and team interactions.
- Experience in managing budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently.
- Reputable project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
