Company Overview

We are a fast-growing aparthotel business with over 75 properties across Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire and ambitious plans to expand to 250 properties within the next 12 months. Our mission is to provide outstanding guest experiences by combining the comforts of home with the convenience of a hotel.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Aparthotel Operations Manager to drive the growth and development of our business while overseeing the daily operations of our extensive property portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel management and a passion for optimising revenue, enhancing guest satisfaction, and streamlining operations.

This role requires close collaboration with the Directors to set strategic objectives, achieve financial targets , and uphold exceptional service standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all aparthotel properties, ensuring exceptional service standards, efficient maintenance, and cleanliness.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Guest Relations & Service Excellence

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction , proactively addressing feedback and maintaining high review scores.
  • Ensure all guest interactions align with the company 's commitment to outstanding hospitality.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and manage on-site teams , fostering a high-performance, guest-focused culture.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure teams deliver excellence in service.

Revenue & Occupancy Optimisation

  • Work closely with the Directors to implement revenue management strategies , including dynamic pricing and targeted promotions.
  • Develop and execute initiatives to increase and maintain high occupancy rates across all properties.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify trends and revenue opportunities , and optimise profitability.

Target Achievement & Performance Management

  • Set, monitor, and achieve key performance targets related to occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews , using data-driven insights to drive operational improvements.

Company Ethos & Brand Standards

  • Ensure the company 's values and service standards are consistently upheld across all locations.
  • Implement best practices that reinforce trust, safety, and operational excellence.

B2B & Corporate Relationship Building

  • Establish and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and business partners to drive long-term bookings and corporate stays.
  • Develop strategic partnerships to expand the company 's presence in the hospitality and serviced accommodation sector.

Industry Engagement & Networking

  • Attend hospitality industry events, networking functions, and conferences to stay ahead of market trends and enhance brand visibility.
  • Represent the company professionally to strengthen industry reputation.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with brand standards and service excellence.
  • Oversee health & safety compliance, ensuring all properties meet regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Implement staff training programmes to maintain a safe and well-managed environment.

Reporting & Strategic Insights

  • Prepare and present operational reports to senior management , providing insights on performance, challenges, and growth opportunities.
  • Use data analysis and reporting tools to support evidence-based decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years ’ experience in hotel management or a similar role in the hospitality sector.
  • Proven track record in enhancing guest satisfaction, increasing occupancy, and optimising revenue.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills , with experience managing multi-site teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and revenue management tools.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
