Boys Hall opened over two years ago with a 70 seater restaurant, 2 Private dining rooms, a small quaint pub, 2 lounge areas, 9 rooms & 3 acres of gardens. We have had rave reviews from locals, visitors and articles in established magazines.
Over the past two years we have won several awards & accolades, recommended for the best boutique hotels to stay & dine, 2 AA Rosettes. We are beyond proud of our achievements and 2025 will be even better
Using only the highest quality of produce, seasonal dishes, open fire cooking & delivering the most wonderful guest experience, our kitchen is now looking for a CDP to join the team.

Our Kitchen Team
You will be working with highly skilled and passionate Chefs with extensive experience in Michelin-starred and fine dining establishments, demonstrating expertise in precision cooking, modern gastronomy, and exceptional kitchen operations. Competent at working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, delivering dishes that meet the highest culinary standards, and contributing to the success of UK-renowned restaurants.
Head Chef Alfie Jebb-Crouch and Senior Sou Chef Joe Winston strive to pass on there expertise and experience that they have gained so far in their careers.
Job Summary
The role of CDP at Boys Hall is to look after your section in the kitchen, ensuring standards of food preparation and cleanliness are being met by any members of the team on your section, while also supporting the kitchen in anything that the business requires.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes that meet the standards and expectations as set out by the Head Chef.
- Develop and execute innovative and seasonal menus that showcase creativity and sophistication.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and consistency of dishes to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2 years of experience working in a busy kitchen producing high quality food.
- Communication Skills: As the CDP you should have excellent communication skills, including written and verbal, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with your colleagues.
- Organisational Skills: Working in a busy kitchen environment required efficiency and organisation to be able to keep up with the demands of the business.
- Industry Knowledge: As a CDP we would expect you to have a great understanding of the hospitality industry, including trends, best practices, and any regulations.
