Kitchen Assistant - Full Time 39 HOURS AND BANK - Days/Weekends - Care Home with Nursing - Family Run Home

Kitchen assistant required for nursing home in the Broadstone area, Poole. Full aTime - Days/Weekend hours available. Mandatory in house training required. WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIPS.

Main Duties

• To ensure duties are performed in a competent manner.
• To assist with kitchen duties and kitchen is kept clean
• To assist with serving food and carrying out tea rounds
• To assist with keeping the kitchenettes clean, tidy and well stocked
• To work with the team to ensure the efficient operation of the home.

We offer full induction and training, 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays, competitive hourly rate plus enhancements, ‘Auto-Enrolment Work Place Pension’ scheme and a uniform is provided. This post is subject to DBS & POVA clearance (cost will be met by employer).

We have been providing all aspects of nursing care in Poole for over 40 years and now we are recruiting staff for our purpose built home. The Home is run by the Owner and Manager, Kimberley and a team of dedicated staff with a number of relevant qualifications. The home has also gained Gold Standards Framework accreditation (GSF), Platinum status, for implementing improved coordination and organisation to deliver better outcomes in line with residents needs and preferences for their end of life care.
