The Role

We are looking for an Engineer to join our team at our Glenfield site in Cowdenbeath. Reporting to the Engineering Manager , you will play a key role in maintaining and improving production equipment. This is a full-time, permanent role working day and back shifts , with a rota for nightshift on-call.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment breakdowns, leading fault identification and resolution.

• Develop processes and equipment to enhance quality and productivity.

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure machine availability and set priorities.

• Identify deficiencies in current machinery and propose solutions for improvement.

What We 're Looking For

• Engineering qualification (Degree, HNC, or HND).

• City & Guilds 18th Edition certification.

• Understanding of mechanical and pneumatic systems and their interaction with electrical systems.

• Ability to work under time pressure while following health & safety regulations.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
