D&D Recruit are looking for a seasoned Quality Manager to join our manufacturing client based in Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day to day running of the quality team ensuring all products produced meet the customer’s requirements. Effective processing and feedback of customer issues and returns, and the timely resolution of containment and root cause analysis / actions.
• To record data for the site quality measures in order to drive improvement projects through the application of continuous improvement methodologies, quality control techniques and training.
• To be a key team player working as part of the site operations management team responsible for the quality performance of the site and in supporting the manufacturing / operations activities.
• To mange the UK ISO9001:2015 certification ensuring process and procedures are in place and complied with to ensure ongoing compliance to the standard.

Duties

• Ensure all duties are performed in a safe and efficient manner
• To manage customer complaints & returns
• To work with the site team to ensure processes, products made, are to the correct quality
• To improve the cost of quality
• To ensure, all quality documentation, measuring and checking of equipment
• To manage a register of calibrated equipment, fixtures, jigging, gauging and JIS’s
• To manage a process of new part introduction / part changes to approval
• To manage the site quality team

Experience

• 3+ Years in similar role
• 3+ years in manufacturing environment
