Central Employment is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Security Officer to join our valued client in Cramlington. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service.
Salary: £31,000 - £32,000
Location: Cramlington
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage access to the site, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.
- Conduct regular patrols to maintain a visible and secure presence.
- Operating the gatehouse.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Operate CCTV systems ensuring any suspicious activity is identified and reported.
- Maintain awareness of health and safety policies, reporting hazards or breaches immediately.
- Greet and assist visitors, providing directions or information while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Complete accurate and detailed incident reports, documenting security-related activities and events.
- Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and other stakeholders as necessary.
Key Requirements:
- Valid SIA License
- Previous security experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain vigilant and identify potential risks or hazards.
- Willingness to work various shifts.
- Ability to perform patrols, respond to incidents, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
