Recruitment Consultant

Reading - £22,000 - £25,000 + £30k - £50k OTE

Our client are looking for ambitious, resilient, career driven individuals to add to their stimulated / social office environment. Our client are on the hunt for outstanding graduates and early stage professionals that are looking to progress into the recruitment sector. Our client work within the Tech industry and they are looking to hire for September.

Our client, have a full internal training program that every new starter goes through, where you’ll learn everything you need to know about the recruitment process as well as learning about your sector! Our client start new consultants as 180 recruitment consultants, this is where you’ll be tasked to bring on either new business or new candidates, before you move into the 360 side of things.

The Role:

In recruitment each day differs, but your main duties will be:

• Learning the market and gathering market intelligence.
• Speaking with individuals predominantly over the phone.
• Headhunting candidates.
• Interviewing candidates.
• Marketing out your candidates to your prospective companies.
• Finding new business.

Recruitment is a form of sales and with sales comes rejection. Rejection in these roles is constant, if you see rejection as a motivator you will thrive in this position!
