Direct Medics are working in partnership with Cheshire & Wirral NHS Trust to recruit a Band 6 Diabetes Podiatrist for the Neighbourhood Integrated Team. Working hours: Mon-Thur 8:30-5pm, Fri 8:30-4pm.

This position involves provision of podiatric care for patients who have diabetes. To independently assess, diagnose and implement highly specialist care, advice and education predominantly for patients with diabetes, patients with diabetes related foot ulcers and also, routinely, for patients who do not have diabetes with at risk conditions such as ischaemia and biomechanical problems in a variety of settings.

Requirements

• HCPC Registered Podiatrist
• Certificate in administration of local anesthetics
• Independent prescribers qualification
• UK based podiatry experience
• Right to live and work in the UK
