The Project Manager is responsible for delivering overall project objectives and specific team deliverables, by the planning of project activities and executing assigned tasks/work within the expected quality standards, to ensure the project is a success.
Here’s what the role looks like:
- Manage a portfolio of SAP projects ranging in size and complexity, and ensuring projects are delivered in scope, on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedule and work plans.
- Assemble, plan, and lead technical teams to deliver the project objectives.
- Track project progress and costs, and proactively manage any changes via a controlled Change management process.
- Create and maintain project documentation to track actions, risks, and issues.
- Provide project reporting, both internal and external.
- Planning and managing service changes and service go-lives.
- Conducting regular reviews during project and service transition with customers and key stakeholders / senior management.
Requirements
- Proven track record of SAP project delivery, preferably within the Oil and Gas industry
- Maximo experience beneficial
- Functional knowledge in Finance, Supply Chain and Logistics
- Knowledge of ERP interface design, build and deployment
- Knowledge of ERP testing and data migration practices
- Oil and Gas Experience preferred
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with users and stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage stakeholders, software partners and internal staff through large scale business change
- PRINCE2 certification or equivalent, prior Agile experience beneficial
