Group Personal Training Coach Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and supportive Group Personal Training Coach to help individuals reach their fitness and wellness goals in a dynamic group setting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of group training methodologies and a deep enthusiasm for inspiring others to unlock their potential. As a Group Personal Training Coach, you will lead participants in engaging sessions that offer motivation, guidance, and accountability, creating a motivating atmosphere that promotes collective growth and self-improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate group training sessions to assess participants’ needs and design personalized development plans that cater to varying fitness levels.

  • Provide ongoing encouragement and support as group members work towards their shared and individual goals.

  • Develop creative and tailored group workouts and exercises that promote self-discovery, teamwork, and personal growth.

  • Monitor group progress, making necessary adjustments to programs to ensure continued success for all participants.

  • Organize and conduct workshops or group discussions on relevant topics such as goal setting, time management, and stress reduction in the context of fitness and well-being.

  • Maintain organized records of group interactions and progress to evaluate effectiveness and adapt approaches as needed.

  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in group training to enhance your coaching and service delivery.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and foster trust within diverse group settings.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey ideas and instructions effectively.

  • Empathetic listening skills to understand group dynamics and individual participants’ concerns and challenges.

  • Ability to motivate and inspire groups towards achieving their collective and personal fitness goals.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple groups and track progress efficiently.

  • Experience in personal training, fitness instruction, or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.

  • A commitment to ongoing professional development in group training practices.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Requirements

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Nantwich CW5 7LF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Personal training: 2 years (preferred)

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)

Work Location: In person
