We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional hospitality and guest services. This role requires a warm personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for the hospitality industry is essential.

Duties

  • Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the hotel services and facilities.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a courteous manner.
  • Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Process reservations accurately using the hotel management system.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and transportation services.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required, including managing correspondence and filing.

Requirements

Skills

  • Strong background in hospitality or guest services is preferred.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with guests.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for enhancing guest experiences.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure smooth operations at the front desk.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and guest satisfaction.
