The Role

As a Senior Consultant – Procurement Manager , you will play a pivotal role in delivering procurement solutions to clients, driving cost efficiencies, and optimising supplier relationships.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Procurement Strategy & Project Delivery: Lead procurement projects, develop sourcing strategies, and drive cost efficiencies
  • Supplier & Contract Management: Negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and ensure value for clients
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and vendors to align procurement with business objectives
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, industry regulations, and risk mitigation best practices
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Monitor budgets, track savings, and provide data-driven insights for cost optimisation

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should bring a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field with 5+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing
  • Project Management Expertise: Strong project delivery skills, ideally with PMP or PRINCE2 certification
  • Procurement & Negotiation Skills: Proven experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost reduction strategies
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with procurement systems (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer) and data analysis
  • Consulting & Communication Skills: Ability to operate in a fast-paced consultancy environment and manage client relationships effectively
