Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate commis chef / trainee chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a background in food preparation and hospitality skills. You will learn how to create delicious dishes and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Shifts will include breakfast, brunch/lunch and dinner service.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Collaborative and efficient working environment.
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Assist in the planning of special events and catering services as required.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and feedback regarding menu items.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to continuous learning in the field.
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential.
• A desire to learn and grown your skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.50-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
