Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef De Partie to join our friendly kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working as a team member and committed to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Chef De Partie you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of food safety and presentation.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred, but not essential for enthusiastic candidates willing to learn.
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food safety regulations is beneficial.
• A passion for cooking and a desire to develop your skills is highly valued.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 36 per week
