We are seeking a dedicated and skilled chef de partie or sous chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a senior chef, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

  • Duties*

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.

  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.

  • Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.

  • Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Skills*

  • Proven experience as a chef de partie or sous chef in a restaurant or similar culinary environment.

  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.

  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team.

  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new cooking methods and recipes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
