Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and production, ensuring that all meals are prepared according to our standards of excellence while maintaining food safety protocols.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen stations.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and work areas.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed and provide support in team management.

Skills

  • Proficiency in food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
  • Experience in food production within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being capable of supervising when required.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • A genuine passion for cooking and the hospitality industry, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
