Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Duty Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest standards of service within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage a diverse team of drivers effectively. As a Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence while fostering a positive environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Lead and motivate drivers to deliver exceptional service.
• Handle inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
• Ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
• Assist in staff scheduling and manage workforce requirements efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections of the vehicles and premises to maintain cleanliness and organisation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the establishment.
• Ability and willingness to work 12-hours shifts over a fixed rota to include weekends and bank holidays with out of hour contact during shift days.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within the coach or bus service industry is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop team members.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Proficient in conflict resolution with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to the industry is advantageous.
• A positive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Must hold a current PSV licence and tacho card

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £40,623.00 per year
