Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires effective communication and organisational abilities to ensure the shop runs smoothly and efficiently. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that customer satisfaction remains a top priority.

Duties

• Supervise daily shop operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Manage and lead a team of staff, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to foster a positive shopping environment.
• Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and merchandising.
• Implement retail management strategies to drive sales and improve customer experience.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the shop.
• Handle administrative tasks such as orders and sales reporting as required.
• Excellent phone etiquette when dealing with customer inquiries or complaints.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the shop environment.
• A passion for home and garden products and outdoor living concepts

Experience

• Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is essential.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of shop management.
• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for this role.
• Experience in administrative tasks related to retail operations is advantageous.
• A background in customer service is highly desirable, alongside a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
