Here at he Kinloch Hotel on the stunning Isle of Arran we are currently recruiting for a Junior Chef or Experienced Chef de Partie to join our team. The right candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day to day management and running of our Kitchen. You will assist the Head Chef every aspect of the Kitchen, working closely with our other Chefs and Food and beverage team, to provide high quality meals in a quality friendly working environment.

The ideal candidate will:

Prepare and assist cooking of the menu to the highest standard

Be able to assist Head Chef with ordering of stock and manage stock control within agreed budgets and GP margins

• Be able to follow, maintain and demonstrate high standards of food safety and cleanliness
• Be confident and experienced to follow and adhere to all rules of Health and Safety
• Have Level 1 or 2 Food Hygiene, further training can be provided
• Possess the ability to successfully delegate, lead and motivate the team with confidence.
• Work closely with the front of house team
• Maintain company systems & procedures

Hours of work:

Approximately 40-45 hours a week, worked flexibly across 7 days. Working hours predominantly between 10am-9.30pm with a mix of split and straight shifts.

Salary based on Experience, Interview and Qualifications.
