We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Analyst to deliver ongoing digital transformation for the UK’s Motorcare and Mobility (ERAC) business divisions.
In this role you will provide strategic business analysis services, working with stakeholders across UK Insurance and Group’s central Product and Technology functions, to support the delivery of our transformation strategy for our motor claims division.
You will work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of both business and client strategies and processes. Using this knowledge, you will translate their requirements to specifications for internal software development teams and external 3 party providers, ensuring the applications they deliver add business value.
This role will be key to understanding and documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges, and critical in the coordination and execution of elements of the change process for all strategic change initiatives.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs
- Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focusing on quality improvement and data management; developing process improvements and/or re-engineering
- Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations by developing communication processes to keep others up-to-date on project results
- Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists, updates) to communicate updates and findings
- Business case production
- Requirements gathering and documentation (clear & concise business and technical writing).
- Chair workshops (virtually and in-person).
- Support and engage senior leaders
- Support organisational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
- Coordinate efforts with other specialists
- Evaluate and ensure user readiness
- Manage stakeholders
- Manage and co-ordinate user acceptance testing to ensure the end product is fit for business use.
- Offer guidance and support to internal and external system users to ensure that our people use our products in the best way.
- Monitor adoption of change - feed into continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide support and consultation for business process changes.
- Facilitate application configuration and troubleshooting
Our ideal candidate
You will have proven experience working as a Business Analyst in fast-paced, change environments, working with Agile methodologies.
You 'll be:
- Experienced within an analysis/change position in Insurance/ Claims/Financial Services sector
- Experienced in engaging with senior level business leaders/stakeholders
- Experienced in creating clear & concise business and technical writing
- A self-starter, capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively
- Highly methodical, analytical and well-organised
- Driven to achieve business objectives, with the ability to embrace change and adjust approach
- Able to interact and influence with all levels in the organisation confidently
- Able to manage remote colleagues & service providers during change
- Resilient and flexible when faced with multiple competing priorities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
