Job Purpose
We are seeking an Apprentice Support Analyst to join our Managed Services team. You will deliver, support, and maintain high-quality cloud-based solutions, managing incidents efficiently and playing a key role in ensuring systems run smoothly. This opportunity is ideal if you are passionate about creatively solving problems, managing technical tasks, and providing great customer service.
Apprenticeship Overview
Expected duration: 21 months
Apprenticeship level: Higher (Level 4)
Programme: Applications Support Lead
During this apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with LearnTech, delivered through combined weekly remote classroom-based training, workplace assessment/training and online learning working towards completing the Applications Support Lead standard.

You will:
- Learn on the job while receiving external training and personalised coaching.
- Gain experience across a variety of projects, clients, and sectors.
- Expand your knowledge across key application support areas.
- Provide guidance, training, and support on technology applications.
- Assist with rolling out upgrades and new technologies, both internally and with customers.
- Help implement enhancements to support functions.
- Support the planning and execution of IT projects
Key responsibilities:
- Work as part of the wider FSP Managed Services team to deliver, maintain, and continuously improve the applications and services we provide to our clients.
- Create both technical and user-friendly knowledge guidance and documentation to empower others.
- Provide support to our clients within the Microsoft suite of services and applications, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Endpoint, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365, as well as work with some other bespoke applications.
- Support and manage incidents and service requests with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Stay informed on the latest technology developments and share insights with both the team and our clients.
- Contribute to initiatives and share your expertise as part of the FSP technical community.
- Work towards achieving a nationally recognized qualification in application support (Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard)

- Due to the nature of this role, successful candidates may need to undergo security clearance. To be eligible, candidates must have lived in the UK for at least 5 consecutive years
Requirements
It is a requirement to have five GCSE 9-4 grades or equivalent (including English and Maths) to apply for this type of apprenticeship. If you do not have these grades but have completed numeracy and literacy Key Skills/Functional Skills at level two you may also apply for these apprenticeships. A Levels or equivalent are also a requirement for this role.
