Overview
We are seeking a Depot Manager to oversee our depot and fleet of vehicles in Ulverston. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and experience in the transport industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient running of our bus and coach business. Some driving will also be required during busy periods.

Duties

• Manage daily operations of the depot, ensuring vehicles and drivers are adequately prepared.
• Oversee inventory control and ensure accurate stock levels are maintained.
• Implement and monitor vehicle inspection and maintenance regime.
• Conduct regular assessments of depot operations to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the depot environment.
• undertake driving duties during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the transport industry.
• Cat D driving licence.
• Ability to lead teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £31,200.00-£35,000.00 per year
