Are you looking to take your purchasing career to the next level in a fast-paced, supportive, and rewarding environment? Join our team at Exertis UK as a Buyer where you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own portfolio of suppliers to ensure consistent service levels and customer satisfaction.
 
As part of the team, you’ll:
• Maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while balancing cash flow, stock turns and warehouse space. Oversee inbound deliveries, booking slots and manage purchasing data and pricing.
• Act as the main purchasing contact for internal and external stakeholders. Negotiate with suppliers, manage order confirmations and attend supplier meetings and product launches.
•Monitor stock levels against targets, update ETAs and ensure timely resolution of invoice and delivery disputes. Optimise stock movement for maximum efficiency.
•Work with vendors and the commercial teams to manage aged stock by attending weekly reviews. Ensure accurate forecasting of EOM and EOQ stock levels.
