Quality Control Manager

What Your Day Will Look Like
- Lead and define the quality strategy for our broadcast replay solutions, ensuring seamless software and hardware performance.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases to guarantee flawless product functionality.
- Oversee functional, performance, and usability testing for broadcast systems, including both software and hardware components.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools, providing detailed descriptions and reproduction steps.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and operations teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that bug fixes and new features don’t introduce additional issues.
- Analyze test results and provide data-driven insights to drive continuous product improvement.
- Stay ahead of industry advancements by keeping up with the latest broadcast technologies and QC best practices.
- Work closely with the Operations team to troubleshoot customer issues and enhance product performance.

Tech Stack and Skill Requirements
Essential:
- 5+ years of experience in quality control testing , preferably in broadcast or video production.
- Strong understanding of broadcast video formats, codecs, and signal processing.
- Hands-on experience with ST2110 and NMOS is a must.
- Familiarity with broadcast replay systems and workflows.
- Expertise in various testing methodologies and tools.
- Strong IT knowledge, including Windows OS, Networks, Storage, Databases, and Web.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git).
Preferred:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, broadcast technology, or a related field.
- Experience with bug-tracking software (Jira, Bugzilla).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript).
