Contract: Fixed Term for 10 months with potential to transition to Permanent

At Pulselive, we’re all about creating exceptional apps and websites that bring sports fans closer to the action. We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Senior React Native Engineer to join our dynamic delivery team and help lead an exciting new project. This role is initially a fixed-term contract, but there’s potential to move into a permanent position for the right person!

As a Senior React Native Engineer at Pulselive, you’ll be at the forefront of developing high-quality mobile applications for a global sports audience. If you’re someone with a solid background in leading teams and delivering mobile apps with React Native, have a deep understanding of best practices, and enjoy mentoring others, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading the development of mobile applications using React Native, delivering scalable and high-quality solutions.
  • Mentoring and guiding a team of engineers, fostering best practices in mobile development.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create outstanding products for sports fans.
  • Driving the technical direction of the project, ensuring an innovative and seamless user experience.
  • Playing an active role in shaping a high-performing engineering culture.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience leading teams to deliver mobile applications using React Native, with hands-on knowledge of React Native libraries and tools (e.g., Redux).
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
  • Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Redux Toolkit, or Zustand.
  • A solid grasp of mobile UI/UX principles to create intuitive, user-friendly designs.
  • Ability to write maintainable and effective unit tests.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of mobile development best practices and a strong track record of implementing them.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and mentor junior team members.
  • A genuine passion for delivering world-class digital experiences, especially in the world of sports.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a proven ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
