If you know your way around a loaf of sourdough and think cheese should always be melted to perfection, we need to talk. MINCKA Coffee is on the hunt for a full-time Food Prep & Sandwich Maker – someone who can turn fresh ingredients into food so good, people will shed a happy tear.

We’re not your average coffee shop. We do insanelygreat coffee, the kind that wakes you up and makes you believe in love again. We do next-level toasties, seriously good focaccia sandwhiches, and flaky pastries that would make a Parisian weep. And we do it properly - fresh ingredients, every day, no shortcuts.

Now, we need someone who can keep up with our high standards and fast pace (no faffers and no ‘I’ll just do it in a minute’ types).

Requirements

What You’ll Be Doing (AKA Your Superpowers)

• Prepping like a pro – Slicing, dicing, roasting, spreading, and assembling. From perfectly seasoned chicken to homemade basil pesto, you’ll be handling the good stuff.
• Sandwich Sorcery – You’ll be crafting our signature sarnies and toasties, following MINCKA’s tried-and-tested recipes. No freestyle jazz hands - just consistently delicious food, every single time.
• Making our display drool-worthy – Focaccia sandwiches? Check. Ham & cheese croissants? Check. Everything looking chef’s kiss amazing? Double check.
• Keeping things spotless – A tidy, organised kitchen is a happy kitchen (and a legally compliant one, which is also nice). You’ll follow food hygiene standards like your life depends on it.
• Keeping up with the pace – We’re busy. You’ll need to move fast, think ahead, and be the kind of person who thrives in a buzzing coffee shop.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a kitchen, coffee shop, cafe, or food prep role is a plus (but if you’ve got the right attitude, we’ll teach you everything you need to know).
• You’re quick, reliable, and meticulous – If someone’s cheese-to-bread ratio is off, you will correct them.
• You don’t crack under pressure – Busy shop? No problem. Orders flying in? You’ve got this.
• You care about quality, consistency, and making food that makes people happy.
• You’re a team player – no egos, no drama. Just good vibes and great sandwiches.
