Are you an ambitious, customer-focused sales professional with experience in the construction industry? If so, this exciting opportunity could be just what you’re looking for.

We’re recruiting for a growing, dynamic company that is looking to expand its internal sales team. The role will be based in Cranleigh, GU6 and offers a competitive salary of £40,000 , along with excellent benefits.

Role Overview:
As an Internal Sales Executive , your main responsibility will be to respond to customer queries and handle incoming sales enquiries, ensuring that accurate and timely quotations are provided. You’ll be working closely with the Sales Manager and internal team to scope projects, manage customer expectations, and follow up on quotes to convert them into successful sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer needs and scope potential projects for accurate quotations.
  • Respond to incoming sales enquiries and handle customer queries effectively.
  • Produce and send quotations via the ERP system.
  • Follow up on quotations within agreed timescales, adjusting or closing sales as necessary.
  • Keep CRM system up to date with customer details and sales progress.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with MS Office and CRM/ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with construction industry terminology and processes.
  • Strong telephone and listening skills.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, open office environment.

Additional Preferences:

  • Background in construction industry sales, technical support, or estimating.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and upbeat personality that thrives in a team-oriented atmosphere.
